Cheshire East Council’s leader and deputy leader have shared an update on their activities during the past month.
“Early July took us to the LGA Conference in Liverpool, the national membership body for local authorities,” they say. “We also attended the July meeting of the Cheshire East Youth Council, where young people campaign for positive change.
“In our journey towards devolution, the leader was invited to join ‘The Great North’ Leadership Board, while the deputy leader attended a recent event to support the Cheshire Film Office, which seeks to promote economic and long-term tourism benefits and increase income potential for Cheshire East Council.
“Thank you once again for your support and continued commitment to helping make Cheshire East a thriving community.
