Town Centre Manager

Following approval prior to Covid-19, Alsager Town Council announces the appointment of Mark Henshaw to act as Town Centre Manager on a 6 month part-time contract beginning on 1 June 2021.

His objectives are to work with partners and businesses in the town to help increase footfall in Alsager, for both daytime and night-time economy. Mark will also be analysing the Public Realm consultation comments to be able to inform residents of the outcome and move to further targeted consultation.

Previously, Mark has been the Town Centre Manager for Northwich Business Improvement District for 5 years and the Estate Manager for the West Chester Business Improvement District. Mark will be working flexible part-time hours in order to meet as many organisations as possible.

Mark reports: “I am looking forward to meet and engage with the various businesses of Alsager Town Centre and being able to build a platform so that the businesses and town can have some stability & develop especially after an extremely difficult period owing to the Corona Virus Pandemic. Alsager is a lovely, homely town with great potential and outdoor spaces.”
