Parking Review Statutory Consultation 2023 – You have until 1 November 2023 to “SAY NO”
Cheshire East Council is seeking views on proposed changes to the borough’s parking arrangements, which aim to improve fairness and consistency across its towns. The statutory consultation opened on 20 September and will run for six weeks until 1 November 2023.
If you want to “SAY NO” to car parking charges being introduced in Alsager then you will have to email Cheshire East at carparksreview2023@cheshireeast.gov.uk or by sending a letter to:

Here is a summary of the car parking charges for Alsager as proposed by Cheshire East Council.
Alsager Town Council is opposed to the introduction of car parking charges in Alsager and have developed a document outlining the impact this will have on the town. This document will provide you with useful information on which you can base your response.
The Town Council has also developed a Letter Template for you to use should you wish to object to the proposals. Please return your letter to Cheshire East Council via the address detailed within the template.

Throughout the remainder of September and the whole of October, Alsager Town Councillors will be undertaking a comprehensive programme of engagement with local residents, businesses, and visitors to heighten awareness of the proposals by distributing key information and leaflets. Should you wish to display a copy of the poster, which we will be posting throughout the town, you can pick one up from the Town Council offices during opening hours or by emailing the Town Clerk in advance.
