SP Energy Networks – Keeping you informed – Alsager reinforcement project
We are writing to update you on the work we are carrying out in your area.
As explained previously, we are installing a new underground cable connection that will help to ensure a reliable electricity supply for our customers in Cheshire and beyond, long into the future.
Our work is progressing well and we recently finished installing the section of cable on Radway Green.
On 21 July we will be returning to the area to carry out our next phase of cabling work on Crewe Road before moving on to Hassall Road and Chancery Lane.
As part of the work we will be introducing some temporary traffic management measures that will have an impact on road users and pedestrians.
Please find attached a letter containing more detail, which we’ve issued to the relevant local people and businesses affected by this activity.
We hope that this information is useful. We will continue to keep you, other elected representatives, and local people informed as our work progresses.
