The bell at St Mary’s Church will be tolled at 12pm 8 times (1 for each decade within which she reigned) sadly it’s not up to being rung for the full hour.
Also, there will be a short service of prayer and reflection for her Majesty at St Mary’s tonight at 7pm, all welcome.
The 10.30am service of Holy Communion this Sunday will be a service of remembrance for her Majesty.
Normal services will continue on Thursdays and Sundays at 10.30am, however will remain more solemn than usual until after the funeral.
In church there is a book of condolence which will be available to sign until the day after the funeral and church will be open 9am to 5pm daily.
