PKF Littlejohn LLP has completed its review of the Annual Governance & Accountability Return (AGAR) for Alsager Town Council for the year ended 31 March 2022.
On 27 September 2022, PKF Littlejohn LLP issued an ‘interim’ report in respect of their review of Alsager Town Council’s AGAR for the year ended 31 March 2022 which explained the reasons that they were unable to certify completion of the review at that time. The Council published the interim report on it’s website on 29th September 2022.
PKF Littlejohn LLP are now able to certify completion of the review.
In line with the requirements of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 (SI2015/234) which set out what an authority must do at the conclusion of the review, the Council have prepared a “Notice of conclusion of audit” which details the rights of inspection, in line with the statutory requirements.
Through the issuing of this news item on the Council website, the Council is publishing the “Notice” along with the AGAR (Sections 1, 2 & 3) and the auditor’s final report and certificate.
