Alsager Civic Awards 2022
The presentation ceremony for the Alsager Civic Awards 2022 took place at the Annual Parish Meeting on Tuesday, 5 April 2022.
This year, there were several winners in a wide range of categories, each one recognising the good work and contributions of individuals, community voluntary groups, local businesses and sporting organisations that have made a positive contribution to Alsager.
The successful award winners were:
• The Thirteen Club – Covid-19 Special Recognition Award,
• The Phoenix Hair and Beauty – Independent Business Award,
• The Land Trust Green Angels – Environment Award,
• Pride of Alsager, Alsager Welcomes Refugees (AWR) and Amanda Lovett (AWR) – Community Award,
• Alsager Football Club – Sporting and Leisure Award,
• Nigel Rowbottom – Special Recognition Award– Services to Alsager,
• Sylvia Dyke – Pride in Alsager Award
• Christine Bates and Ann Hughes – Lifetime Achievement.
