In partnership with BT Group, AbilityNet are embarking on a new project to support disabled adults and people over the age of 55 in the UK to access and benefit from digital technology.
With the digitisation of public services and increasing awareness about online scams, digital inclusion is key to ensuring social and economic engagement, reducing inequalities and improving quality of life.
Over the next 12 months AbilityNet have committed to reaching at least 600 people in Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas by providing free group and individual training sessions.
Do you know of people who want to know how to use their phones, laptops, access digital appointments, pay for parking, or video call their family. These are the things most of us take for granted day-to-day but that others – our parents and grandparents for example – feel that they need help with.
Becky would really like to hear from you if you know of anyone who would benefit from training.
