NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
CLOSE LANE, ALSAGER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic-
Close Lane, Alsager
For its full extent
The alternative route will be via Dunnocksfold Road, Hassall Road, Crewe Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 7 April 2025 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 23 May 2025.
