The presentation ceremony for the Alsager Civic Awards 2024 took place on Sunday, 28 April 2024.
This year, there were several winners in a wide range of categories, each one recognising the good work and contributions of individuals, community voluntary groups, and local businesses that have made a positive contribution to Alsager.
The successful award winners were:
- Carer Award: The Carers Club – Catherine Konnedy, Chris Carter and Di Wigmore
- Community Award: Mrs Anne Black
- Great Neighbour Award: Market Makers – Lorraine Standing
- Animal Award: Alsager Animals In Need – Hilary Baxter and Lisa Williams
- Green Award: Laura Pryor
- Volunteer Award – Winner: Mr Paul Dean
- Volunteer Award – Highly Commended: Mr Jonathan Kirby
- Youth Award: Wendy Ambridge
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Mr David Black
