🌺 REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY – SUNDAY 8TH NOVEMBER 🌺
Alsager Town Council kindly reminds residents that our Remembrance Parade will take place on Sunday, 8th November.
📍 Form up: ASDA car park between 2:00 pm and 2:15 pm
🕊️ Parade departs: 2:30 pm
🚧 Please be aware that road closures will be in place on Lawton Road, Crewe Road, Sandbach Road North and South, Ashmore’s Lane, Brookhouse Road to facilitate the parade. We kindly ask residents and motorists to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra time for any disruption.
We invite residents and members of our community to come together in remembrance, reflection and gratitude as we honour the courage, sacrifice and service of our Armed Forces.
We remember all servicemen and women — those who gave their lives in the service of our country, those who have served in the past, and those who continue to serve today, often spending time away from their loved ones to protect the freedoms we enjoy.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the Royal British Legion for their continued and invaluable work supporting our veterans, serving members of the Armed Forces and their families.
❤️ “At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.”
Let us stand together as a community to pay our respects to all those who have served and sacrificed for us.
Lest we forget. 🌺
